Seiko Kinetic Upgrade Kits
This Page was last updated 17th October 2011If your Seiko Kinetic stops shortly after you stop wearing it and its over 7 years old, it will require the NEW "Seiko Upgrade Kit" to replace the old obsolete capacitor.
These NEW kits from Seiko are genuine Seiko kits in a sealed packet and are 30 times more powerful then the original capacitor also they should last at least 20 years.
Be warned.
The watch MUST be cleaned and oiled as the old capacitor will have gassed off contaminating the oils, this makes the watch movement very stiff, it will then be in high power mode (twelve times the normal power), your normal arm movement will not keep it charged. Technical Information
Look for the four digit Calibre number on the back of your watch (the last four digits are only the case style).
