This is the online price only; it has a discount of £12.00 over our workshop price of £91.00
and includes the return by Royal Mail “Special Delivery”
Should the seconds hand not move at all we should still be able to repair it, however there is a standard extra charge of £16.00 to cover any necessary parts (usually because the watch has been dropped).
If the watch will not go with two or three shakes and you prefer an estimate, it will probably work out more expensive than the "Standard Charge".
- We will completely overhaul your watch, which includes cleaning and oiling of the movement,
this is absolutely necessary due to the damage to the oils from the old capacitor gassing off more info.
We will also replace any worn parts.
We do not swap your movement like Seiko usually do.
Also most other repairers do not clean or oil the movement, they only clean the case (read their fine print).
- We will fit the new Seiko upgrade kit which should last at least 20 years; it is 30 times more powerful than the original capacitor.
- Replace the seals as required and test to ensure it is water resistant.
- Full twelve months guarantee.
- Return is by Royal Mail "Special Delivery" within 10 days.
- All this for less than a tank of petrol.
Please note:- If we have cleaned the outer case of your watch, sometimes the charging mechanism may sound a little louder as there is no dirt to absorb the noise.
We prefer a Cheque with your watch, but you can pay by PayPal or Card by clicking the relevant boxes below
Please check the watch glass for scratches; it is very expensive to have it changed after you have received your watch back.
This price is only while the watch is being overhauled.
Pressure test up to 5 BAR (50 Metres) is included in the price
Information on Water Resistant
Have the Case and Bracelet Ultrasonically cleaned, while the watch is stripped down
Wrap in paper or bubble wrap and send in a Jiffy bag or medium sized box.
Presentation boxes and packing will not be returned.
Only use Royal Mail "Special Delivery" not "Recorded Delivery", watches are classed as Jewellery.
"Special Delivery" is the only one that insures jewellery. The cost is £5.90 and includes £500 insurance (next day before 1pm).
